About the lead practitioner Shayne Pattie ​

​Shayne is a registered psychologist who has worked at community organisations such as MIFNQ & NAPHL as well as in Private Practice. 

He has worked under various programs including the ‘headspace’ program, Stepped Care, Medicare and other programs

He has training in various areas of mental health including:
  • ASD
  • ADHD
  • PTSD
  • Alcohol and Other Drugs
  • Anger management
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Various other mild to moderate mental health presentations
  • Basic Forensic Reports
  • Intellectual Functioning Assessments that can include the WAIS, WISC, ADI-R, ADOS and various other assessments
  • Risk assessment &
  • Facilitating mental health group programs such as the various 'Mental Health First Aid Australia' programs, and the 'Black Dog' REACH  program.
 
He has had a passion for Fitness and Martial arts since childhood and it was his time a personal trainer that got him interested in how the mind works and his love for psychology began.

Shayne enjoys combining his extensive knowledge of health and fitness with his psychological knowledge for a more comprehensive understanding of physical health and mental health.

Shayne has also written and published multiple Non-Fiction books relating to how we learn and the human body; and multiple fiction books
